This report summarizes, by home town, military registration entries relating to Armenian men in North America. These include the World War 1 and World War 2 draft registrations for men living in the USA, and Attestation Papers for men joining the Canadian Expeditionary Force (CEF) during World War 1. (Note that Canada performed some registrations for the Canadian Expeditionary Force at locations outside of Canada, including the USA and England. Also, some Armenian men living in the USA went to Canada to join the Canadian Expeditionary Force.)

This database table currently represents just a few of the communities in North America where Armenian immigrants can be found. As time permits, I will continue to expand the scope of this coverage. Volunteers are graciously providing assistance in transcribing records from other Armenian settlement communities. In the USA WW1 draft registrations, Card C (for the registration performed 12-Sep-1918) contained a field for a Nearest Relative's name and address. In the WW2 draft registrations, this field was replaced by one entitled Name and Address of Person Who Will Always Know Your Address. In these abstracts, Nearest Relative is the label used for both types of fields, even though it may actually be a non-Armenian friend, neighbor, or employer.

Several options are presented below for customizing this report. By default, the report is created at the detail (Home Town) level, sorted by Home Country, State/Province, and Town. The scope of the report can be summarized at the State/Province detail level by unchecking the box labeled "Detail by Town?". The sort order can be changed to sort in descending order by count. (If sort is selected, a suppression filter can also be activated to not show the counts less than the desired percentage, in increments of 1%, 2%, 3%, etc.)
